40s & 50s Reunion for Ex BBC Staff

Until this year 40s & 50s Reunion arranged two lunches a year, for retired and ex BBC staff who worked in certain departments and buildings of the BBC. Initially it was for those who had worked in Radio in the 1940s and 1950s (hence the name). The numbers grew quickly and it was decided to have two lunches a year, one for the original radio staff and the other for the slightly later staff who worked in Television in some way. Some people worked in both areas, so get to go to both events. The main reason for these reunions is of course to meet up with friends and colleagues from the past.

Due to decreasing numbers, the Radio lunch in May, will no longer be held. The next lunch will therefore be the Television one in December 2010
