This gathering is for radio staff, members of London Recording Unit, Studio Managers, R.P.A’s and associated programme support departments..

They will have worked at Wood Norton when it was a wartime station, Broadcasting House, Bush House, Oxford Street, Maida Vale, Aeolian Hall, Paris Cinema, and the Criterion during these years or later. The criteria really is that they should have worked with someone who is on the list, which is available if you think you are interested. Our first gathering was in 1990 when 30 came along, rising to about 90. Lately the numbers have decreased due to natural causes.

 

This is normally a Spring event, held at Glenmore House, Surbiton, and includes a five course, silver service lunch.

 

In recent years our numbers have declined, for this event, as we all get older, but there is still a good turnout and everyone really does enjoy getting together.
